Message	instead of washing. It is meant to be used after a complete wash. You would use it instead of quick detailing. Like I said its meant to be used when you want to give your finish more of a "pop" that a quick detailer won't give you when don't feel like waxing. To use this product without washing (on a dirty car) first is asking for surface marring or big time swirls.
